I am learning how to float using a noodle

This term we are learning Water Skills. We are learning how to get in and out of the pool properly and how to be safe in and around water.

This year I am in Room 26/8 and my teacher is Miss Moston.

Maths

I am learning to solve addition and subtraction problems to 10 by counting all the objects.

I am playing my number cruncher game of subtraction.

"I can take numbers away from each other and it becomes smaller" said Dylan

Writing

I am learning to write tidy letters so that I can read my stories. Look at my letters, I am learning how to form them correctly.

"I can write tidy so that I can re read my story" said Dylan

Reading

I am learning to recognise blends and digraphs. I can match up pictures with their correct sound - sh, wh, th or ch! Here I am playing my game!

"I know shopping starts with sh and chair starts with ch. You say the two letters together to make a blend" said Dylan

Ladybird Art

We learnt how to make a collage. We layered pieces of paper onto each other to create our ladybirds on leaves. I wrote a story to go along with it all about my ladybird!

"I can look through my magnifying glass to see a ladybird" said Dylan

Maths

I am learning to add on from 5. Here I am playing my maths game activity Mr Potato Head. I roll the dice and add that number on from 5.

"I roll the dice and then I add that number onto the 5 and then it's a new number" said Dylan.
